Fairhouse Primary School
Courage, Kindness, Respect, Responsibility

Fairhouse Primary School is a busy and successful two-form entry primary school in the heart of Basildon, Essex. Originally a separate infants and junior school, the schools amalgamated in September 2016 to become Fairhouse Community Primary School. In May 2019, the school joined the successful Berlesduna Academy Trust.
The school was inspected as Fairhouse Junior School in 2016 and received a grading of "Good".
The school was last inspected in June 2023 and Ofsted agreed that Fairhouse Community Primary School continues to be a "GOOD" school.
Ofsted 2023:
"Pupils enjoy their time here. There is a friendly welcome for everyone. Older pupils help the younger children. There are good manners and respectful relationships between the members of the school community."
"Leaders ensure that all pupils enjoy a wide and varied curriculum from the very start, in Reception. They have put in place a well-sequenced curriculum so that teachers are clear about what pupils need to know at every stage."
A welcome message from Mrs Hamilton, Headteacher
Welcome to Fairhouse Primary School. I am delighted to be headteacher of this fantastic school in the heart of Basildon.
Fairhouse Primary School is a "Good" two-form Primary school with a highly supportive and dedicated staff team. My vision for Fairhouse is for our school and our community to make a positive difference in the lives of each and every one of the pupils, both academically and personally. We are ambitious, passionate and determined to achieve success in every aspect of school life. The staff, Governing Body and the Trust work together to create and foster a culture of high aspiration, enjoyment for learning, academic success and lifelong skills amongst all pupils, regardless of their social, economic or cultural background.
Our core values of respect, responsibility, kindness and courage are highly fostered and celebrated in all that we do here and I am immensely proud of our achievements.
