Fairhouse Primary School

Respect and Success for All

Fairhouse Primary School is currently only open to the following:

Children whose parents are critical in the fight of Covid-19

Children with an EHC plan

Children in Reception year group

Children in Year 1

Children in year 6

If you wish for your child to attend school as a key worker, please call the school in advance and we will assess your child against the criteria.  In order that we plan for safety of all our school community, no-one can attend school unless prior confirmation of a place has been given.

Thank you for your fantastic and continued support.

Your child will have a log in for our new on-line learning platform, Purple Mash. Most of our work is set on there for your child.  Your child's teacher can see the work your child completes and can give feedback. Please  also visit our new our   Home Learning page for clarification of expectations and ideas of extra learning the children can undertake while they cannot attend school.

We understand that this may be a worrying and unsettling time for some of our pupils. The following documents, a Coronavirus booklet and a booklet about how to help children who are anxious about Coronavirus, explain how to support the children in understanding what the Coronavirus is, what it means to them and how their worries can be eased.

Here at Fairhouse, we are proud members of the Children's University. This is an opportunity for children to gain recognition for their participation in extra-curricular activities both inside outside of school. The children's University encourages children to partake in a range of activities to build on their love of learning and build their self-confidence and resilience.

If your child has not yet signed up for Children's University, ask at the front office for a membership form.

Young Carers

We are proud to be working towards our Bronze Young Carers award here at Fairhouse Primary School. This means that we are supporting any children in our school community who may be classed as a young carer. Miss Byford and Mrs Fleming
