Sports Premium

The Sports Premium funding (£19,540) has allowed us as a school to enhance our sporting provision through:

  • The purchase of new sports equipment.
  • Being able to offer a wide range of after school sports clubs.
  • Provision and intervention being provided for SEN pupils and those disengaged with sport.
  • The implementation an intra-school house competitions throughout the year.
  • Provision provided through the James Hornsby Sports Partnership - staff participation in CPD; advice and support towards gaining         the school games mark; and pupils having access to an extensive range of inter-school competitions.
  • Top up funding for swimming lessons for children who have not met the KS2 standard after competing their curriculum school               swimming lessons in year 3.
